All my art and stuff I like
Onward to Vector-y!
Recently, my Pre-calculus teacher offered us extra-credit points if we make pre-calc related board games :P
My board game (Vectory!) focuses on graphing 3D vectors.
Basically, each player rolls a die 3 times to find the x,y,and z coordinates of their vector. If they roll the same number twice in a row, they have to keep rolling until they get a different number and then that number becomes negative so they have to graph negative coordinates too.
Terminal points are indicated by thumbtacks, and the vector is represented by a rubber band connecting the terminal point to the origin.
After everyone has graphed a few vectors they use the distance formula to find the lengths of their vectors!
Whoever has the longest vector wins! lol I felt like such a nerd after making this :P
Summer Summer Summer
Haven’t posted much art lately, I’ll try to get back to that as I attempt to organize my portfolio and whatnot. Will be posting a bunch on a recent engineering internship I’ve been accepted to, should be cool :)
In the mean time, here’s some Yeah Yeah Yeahs-
Last week a friend of mine and I made a Popsicle stick bridge in our engineering class, it held the most weight out of the other bridges in the class holding 120 lbs!! (we ran out of weights after that) Who knew 250 Popsicle sticks could hold so much?!
My pen ran out of ink (or so I thought…) during French class, so i cut it open and found that I could make these funky ink bubbles
Spoon- Got Nuffin’
Just so good… I’d love to see them live again, it’s been too long!
